The February meeting of the Board of Directors of the Westerleigh Improvement Society will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 8 PM at the Immanuel Union Church, 693 Jewett Avenue. All are welcome to attend.
Community Board #1 will meet on Tuesday, February 14 at 8 PM at the All Saints Church, Victory Blvd at Woolley Avenue.
The Westerleigh Area Committee of Community Board #1 will meet on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30 PM at the Silver Lake Tennis House.
The 120 Pct. Community Council will meet on Wednesday, February 29 at 7 PM at the UA Theaters, 2474 Forest Avenue.

Boy Scout Troop 2 Centennial Dinner

On February 4, 2012 at 6:30 PM Boy Scout Troop 2 sponsored by Immanuel Union Church will mark its 100th anniversary with a gala dinner in the church. Scouts from past years and current scouts and their families will gather for the celebration. Prior to the dinner the scouts will hold a jamboree in the gym demonstrating skills and recent achievements of the Troop. In addition there will be an archival exhibition in the main church hall with displays depicting the early days of scouting at Immanuel Union up to the current day.
